The Update in GI/Hepatology & Esophageal Diseases is intended to provide practicing clinicians with authoritative updates on the investigation and management of a broad spectrum of digestive, liver and esophageal diseases. Guest and MUSC Faculty will conduct the course which is sponsored by the Division of Gastroenterology in the Department of Medicine of the Medical University of South Carolina.
This year, we will be paying tribute to Dr. Donald Castell, MD; Professor of Medicine; Director, MUSC Esophageal Disorders Program. He is internationally recognized as a leading authority on diseases of the esophagus and esophageal function, and has authored or co-authored more than 500 scientific publications. Dr. Castell is a true leader and we look forward to honoring his contributions to our industry.
